Concert PhotographyTori has requested that fans be considerate when taking photos at concerts. There have been numerous problems with people running up to the stage and taking flash photography. First, do not run up to the stage during the show. Stay in your seat and take your photographs from there. Second, do not use your flash! No matter where you are in the venue (unless you're sitting in Tori's lap, and then you will have security problems that are more pressing than whether you are using your flash), your flash does not help you get a better picture. But most importantly, running up to the stage and taking a photograph is distracting to Tori and very rude to your fellow concert-goers. Security can kick you out of the venue for doing this, and they will remove the film from your camera so that you do not even get the memento that you intended. Is the chance of getting a photograph worth missing the concert? If you are going to take photographs at a concert, follow these guidelines: 1. Stay in your seat! 2. Don't use your flash. If you are using a digital camera, make sure that you know how to turn your flash off. Besides being rude to Tori, it is like putting a neon sign over your head saying, "Hey, security! Come kick me out!" 3. If you are using a film camera, buy high-speed film. 800 is good. 1600 is better. Do not even bother with a disposable camera. 4. If you are using a digital camera, use a high resolution. You will get a better picture and can always save it to a smaller resolution later if you want to use it on a webpage.
